School Milk List is a service of FAO's Trade and Markets Division<http://www.fao.org/economic/est/est-commodities/dairy/school-milk/en/>

Dear Michael,

As announced, nine liquid milk factories in France opened their doors to the public between 27th May and 7th June. It was a great success! Near to 10 000 visitors came and visited one of the factories, appreciating our "savoir-faire", being impressed by industrial tools and all of the quality controls. They were also able to find out about milk production. Different pedagogic and children focused activities were proposed to supplement the visit (nutritional advice about milk or breakfast, cooking workshop, different competitions,...). Milk tasting sessions (plain or flavored) were also very much appreciated. You can find reports and photos of these openings on our blog http://www.journeemondialedulait.fr .

Yours sincerely,

Anne-Sophie Royant
Secretary general of Syndilait
France
