It is positive that FAO helping to raise awareness of school milk by organizing this day. Although it is very different challenges we face in the countries involved. The event also helped to get closer relations between the national organizations working with school milk. In Denmark, The School Milk Scheme chose to combine the day with “School Milk Days”, which takes place over four Saturdays at Legoland Park in September. Besides bringing all guests a cold school milk, we welcomed lots of new milk drinkers with a program that has offered comfort, milk knowledge and entertainment.
We have met up to 30,000 parents and children in Legoland who have had a good milk experience. At the same time, we ideas and input for future school milk. Children and parents have, among other things made their own butter, participated in competitions and experienced artists on stage.

Kind regards,
