Dear subscribers,

Please find attached the policy brief and the link to the White Paper, “Build back better in a post-COVID-19 world: Reducing future wildlife-borne spillover of disease to humans”, produced by the Sustainable Wildlife Management (SWM) Programme.

These two publications are the result of a concerted and collaborative effort by many specialists from within the four SWM Programme partner organisations (FAO, CIRAD, CIFOR and WCS). Both documents also reflect the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and European Union's wholehearted and sustained support for the initiative, the Foreword to the White Paper was prepared and signed by the Director General of DG-DEVCO and by the Secretary General of OACPS.

The full white paper in English can be accessed at: http://www.fao.org/documents/card/en/c/cb1503en/

French versions of the SWM White Paper and Policy Brief.
