Dear All,
Happy new year and I hope you are fine and safe.
We are looking for an experienced data scientist, analyst or modeler for the Evidence and Analytics for Health Security Unit (EHS) unit. The position is fixed term (P4) and Geneva-based.

Education
Essential: Advanced level university degree and post-graduation qualification preferably in mathematics or statistics or related field.
Desirable: Qualification in epidemiology is desirable.
Experience
Essential: At least seven years' experience as data scientist, analyst or modeler. Demonstrated record of developing and implementing concepts in mathematical modelling and forecasting preferably in health and social sectors. Working experience with software/databases like MS Access, MySQL and linkages to MS Excel. Experience in writing code for Stata, SAS, SPSS.
Desirable: Work experience in health or health security or emergency preparedness is desirable. Working experience with at least one data visualization software (ex. Tableau, Qlikview or FusionCharts). Experience at national or international level, academic or research institution. Experience in WHO, the UN System, international organizations in the field of public health emergencies.
