Conservation agriculture and climate change mitigation

Welcome to take part in the online learning event in September

We welcome all interested in conservation agriculture and climate change mitigation to participate in an online learning event.

Semeato avi_o1The learning event concentrates in these topics:

  1. How conservation agriculture (CA) can best increase soil carbon sequestration compared to tillage-base agriculture?
  2. What are the challenges for CA in different farming systems?

We would be interested in hearing your ideas and questions that you might have in mind for formulating the final questions for September.

The learning event is hosted by conservation agriculture experts from FAO and partner organizations.

The event lasts two and a half weeks in September 2012.

Volunteering to organize this event with us is very welcome!

This event is organized in cooperation with the Community of practice for climate change mitigation in agriculture and CA-CoP CONSERVATION AGRICULTURE COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE, FAO.
