Hi Ulla,

Compeat is a good software but expensive and Windiets is another one which is slightly less expensive but limited in what you will get out of it. These contain UK's data including some SA foods. However we use our own data on SA foods from EuroFIR and FSA.
You might also like to search some of the papers (search S Khokhar) for the data already published.

Could somebody recommend a good - free or low-cost - data processing software to analyze 24hr recall data for food and nutrient intakes? It should also include food composition data for basic Asian Indian foods with an option to add recipes easily.
