To my knowledge, such a database doesn't exist. Most of the information on processed food is proprietary, and therefore difficult to access. The attached paper attempted to estimate added sugar consumption in Australian children. As you can see, it involved a painstaking calculation for each of the major sources of added sugar. That was ten years ago – access to information about the extent to which we depend on sucrose as a food is no better today than it was then.

Dear all,
I am looking for food composition databases/tables that contain information on added sugar in food. Does any of you know aboutsuch data? I am already aware of the 'USDA database for the added sugar content of selected foods'. Also information on the problems and restrictions of such data are welcome.
It would be great if someone can help me.
