This is Doris Zuñiga of the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, Peru. I am very grateful for all the contributions of scientists about the impact of genomics. I work with plant growth promoting rhizobacteria and it is significant to have the identification using the total or partial genomic of these bacteria so that they can be applied to the field for crop improvement. Yet in a few places in our country is being implemented in a limited way these bacteria as inoculants in replacement of chemical fertilizers and also for the control of phytopathogenic with good results. Not only is it necessary to increase the knowledge of all the genomics of the microbial populations existing but also disseminate its importance to the farmers so that they can apply it in improvement of their crops within a sustainable agriculture, low-cost and environmentally friendly Dra.
