· Ever-popular course taught continuously for many years by EpiX Analytics (formerly Vose Consulting), now with an even stronger academic emphasis given by the collaboration with the RVC. A condensed version of this course was also delivered by EpiX at the last three ISVEE conferences; · Unique course program, which covers key topics such as: § dynamic modeling of epidemic and endemic diseases, and how the results of such models can be used in a risk assessment; § interface with policy-makers / government institutions; · Up-to-date and improved teaching material that reflects changes and innovations in the international risk analysis context; · Hands-on course: focus on solving real-world risk analysis problems and using practical modeling methods; · Use of case studies to illustrate applications, good practices or mistakes to avoid; · Expert instructors: participants learn from the extended teaching, consulting and research experience in risk analysis from EpiX Analytics and the Veterinary Epidemiology, Economics & Public Health group of the RVC; · Link with academic programs: § Postgraduate Certificate in Risk Analysis in Health and Food Safety: possibility to apply for an exemption from Module 1 of the certificate (candidates successfully granted the exemption get a 1,200GBP discount on the certificate tuition fee); § Credits for selected postgraduate programs and continuing professional development.
