FAO Director-General José Graziano da Silva and Adris Piebalgs, Development Commissioner of the European Union, will visit Malawi with the aim of strengthening collaboration in various developmental areas. Graziano da Silva and Piebalgs will hold high-level discussions with President Joyce Banda and other government officials and international partners, as well as with representatives from the private sector and civil society. The joint mission will also include field visits to locations in the country to meet farmers and see the impact that FAO-EU projects are having for beneficiaries. Thursday, 7 March, 10:00h CET.
