Rising demands for foods of animal origin has shaped national feeding systems in many countries of the world. In the framework of the Agricultural Market Information System – a new mechanism set up by the G20 to improve international food market transparency – a better understanding of feed consumption is an essential component to foster knowledge on global crop utilization. Against this background, better estimates of national feed requirements are of critical importance for policy makers and international development institutions.
You are invited to participate in this survey as a livestock and feed expert. Please take 15-20 minutes of your time to complete this short online questionnaire, which will help us design in-depth country studies and targeted follow-up discussions with national stakeholders to close existing knowledge gaps.
Needless to say, we would be grateful if you could circulate this survey invitation among your colleagues and networks. Please complete the survey before 16 June, 2013.
Thank you for your participation. We look forward to receiving your responses.
