School Milk List is a service of FAO's Trade and Markets Division<http://www.fao.org/economic/est/est-commodities/dairy/school-milk/en/> Dear Michael et al, Your mail was most welcome and the FAO Milk and Dairy Products in Human Nutrition report was quickly downloaded to my iPad. Travelling last week I was able to spend some time interrogating the 400+ pages - my what a wealth of insights - you know that this industry will provide you with new information till your dying day it is so fascinating and complex. I was particularly interested to see the comparability between the various milks including human milk. In addition the debate over low-fat, recently a focus of a broadcast on UK TV, was good to see mentioned. Social media What has become apparent in the social media world is that sharing information is basically a gift. It is how the messages from Dairy Outlook are now perhaps perceived. I think the generosity of spirit from Outlookers, you Michael and Barbara goes without saying. Keep the faith - as long as you can give there will be some to receive but you are unlikely to know all the network effects or indeed affects!! Yes this discussion list emerged from the wonders of email. Perhaps it is time to add additional channels such as twitter, FB, Pinterest to get a wider network involved in communicating the knowledge and experience of the dairy sector.
