Dear Subscribers,
The thematic issue of the Land Tenure Journal on Fisheries has been published online. You can access the articles online at www.fao.org/nr/tenure/land-tenure-journal/<http://www.fao.org/nr/tenure/land-tenure-journal/>.
This issue of the FAO Land Tenure Journal includes seven articles based on the case studies presented and discussed in the FAO workshop on governance of tenure for responsible capture fisheries (Rome, July 2011). These articles, together with other information and experiences on small-scale fisheries around the globe, have been used as the basis for the work on a fisheries implementation guide in support of the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of National Food Security that is currently under development and they provide a thorough overview of fisheries tenure.

The Land Tenure Journal aims to be an open, impartial and practice-oriented global forum for exchanging the latest knowledge in land tenure. It aims to be a leading publication in the areas of land tenure, land policy and land reform. The target audience of the journal are land professionals and practitioners. The journal also allows room for relevant academic contributions and theoretical analyses.
With best regards,
Editorial Team
