2). Please do not send directly to me your contributions for general distribution because (as I mentioned I already have access to two copies) a third just causes a bit more confusion between which version has been moderated and approved and which has not. Of course you can still contact me directly if you have something that is not for general distribution - i.e. to mention someone who might be able to answer a particular question, or in response to a question I have asked you about your contribution, or simply to tell me what a hash I am making of things.
4). Many contributions are going up with rather misleading subject lines. Only hit the reply feature if you are contributing to the particular issue raised by another participant's contribution. Otherwise type in your own title which will help the readership.
5). I am learning as we go along so please forgive me when I occasionally click the wrong button. Some contributions have gone out with a warning about viruses or about suspicious messages. I think they are alright and if you read further down the emails in question you find the contribution sent by the author. In future I will try to make sure they come to you without a health warning on the front - and without any problem inside.
6). If you have colleagues that you wish to introduce to the conference please write to the FAO and OIE secretariats and they will sign them in.
7). Don't forget to let us know who you are and what you do especially when you first write in.
Somewhere at the back of my mind there are a few other small issues and I'll send these round too when they resurface,
kind regards,
Paul Rossiter
