Dear all,
there is a need for an objective evaluation framework and criteria on the quality of published food composition tables and databases. I would like to establish a working group to establish FAO/INFOODS evaluation framework and criteria on the quality of published food composition tables and databases.
If you are interested to participate, please write an e-mail to me in which you describe your interest, experience and knowledge in such a field. I also would like to encourage users to come forward.
I will select about 30 as a maximum number of participants for the working group. They will be notified in January 2015. The working group will only meet virtually and communications will be over e-mails and Skype. Those who contribute significantly to the guidelines will be listed as those having prepared the guidelines.
