Dear Partners and Observers,

This message is related to the decision of the 6th WGCB (Rome, 12-13 November 2014) to establish a new activity group (Activity Group 6) on "Bioenergy and Water" under the leadership of IEA Bioenergy (on behalf of IEA).

In order to speed up the starting of its activities we are pleased to update you on the status of the related membership:

- The GBEP Secretariat has received some expressions of interest from Partners and Observers to become members of this AG and therefore to be included in the list of email addresses for AG6 related communications. Additional expressions of interest to join the AG6 works are most welcome.

- A list of external experts - with full names and bios - have been proposed to join this AG6 in light of their expertise in the 'bioenergy and water' field. The list is here attached for your convenience. Your feedback on the proposed external experts to join the AG6 are much appreciated by 30 January 2015. Additional suggestions of external experts to join the group are most welcome.

We look forward to working closely with you under this new Activity Group.

Kind regards,

Michela
