·         Online discussion from 24 March to 13 April on the FSN Forum 

·         Webinar Tuesday 31 March from 14:45 to 16:30 Rome time (Time zone: UTC +2 CEST

 

Over the next decades, climate change will add pressure to the challenge of securing food and nutrition of a growing population.  

 

To raise awareness on this important issue and to contribute to the understanding of the impacts on food systems, the FSN Forum joined forces with the Mitigation of Climate Change in Agriculture (MICCA) Programme to organize a learning event which will include:  

·         An online discussion facilitated by Florence Egal on the FSN Forum 

·         A live webinar to explore and discuss the climate change, food security and nutrition nexus with a panel of FAO Experts:   

Hideki Kanamaru (Natural Resources Officer, Climate, Energy and Tenure Division),   

Aikaterini Kavallari (Economist, Agricultural Development Economics Division),   

Kaisa Karttunen (Senior Natural Resources Officer), FAO; and   

Cristina Tirado (Adjunt Associate Professor), School of Public Health, LA, USA
