Bonjour René Long time no see, hope you are well. Do not have very specific general data, but participated in a study of some students from the UK on daily solar radiation for solar cooking in northern parts of Africa, using both ground-based and satellite data. Was published in BAMS a few months ago and is also accessible on-line. I now use this also in our solar cooking programme for the Sahel, technique now used by about 180,000 refugees. Will forward you the details. All the best to you and thanks for having taken over the job that Kees did so extensively, wish you all strength for it. Does anyone know if there is a "repository" somewhere? Eight to ten station.year collections would do, but they should ideally come from different climatic zones, covering equatorial to temperate. Many thanks for any inputs R. -- René Gommes Visiting Professor http://www.cropwatch.com.cn/ Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the Agromet-L list, click the following link: https://listserv.fao.org/cgi-bin/wa?TICKET=NzM1NzMzIHJpamtzLmFncm9tZXRlb0BXQU5BRE9PLkZSIEFHUk9NRVQtTBTMcsyNgl%2Bc&c=SIGNOFF ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the Agromet-L list, click the following link: &*TICKET_URL(Agromet-L,SIGNOFF);
