Please post on the CA CoP:
A large amount of research has been carried out on the impact of Conservation Agriculture on soil fertility, crop yields and environmental benefits but there appears to be little research so far on the impact of CA on human nutrition, particularly child and maternal nutrition. Concern Worldwide Zambia therefor commissioned Dr Anne-Marie Mayer to carry out an initial study on the potential nutritional impacts of CA amongst practicing CA farmers in Zambia. Report attached.
Please let me know if you are aware of any research on CA and human nutrition, particularly soil-plant-human nutrient flows and mycotoxins risks.
