We are from Guatemala and we celebrated the day (and actually will celebrate the whole month) letting people know more on the importance of milk and all of its aspects.

On all Sundays of June, in one major avenue of Guatemala City, we have set up in a nice park that receives huge mounts of people enjoying the day outdoors . We take kids on an guided tour through our stand to learn how cows are so important, how we take good care of them and the journey from milk to cheese on your families’ table.

It has been educational, insightful for kids (and even grown ups) but most importantly people have had fun learning, hence making it memorable. Kids are even writing personal messages to cows, farmers and cheese itself. It has been fun and the message is getting across.
