Dear all,
FAO has recently launched a Livestock Technical Network. The Network has been created as an instrument to strengthen the technical capacities of the Organization’s human resources and is a community of FAO professionals engaged in collective learning and knowledge sharing. It is a mean to exchange and share information, knowledge and ideas, as well as to foster discussions and collaborations on specific topics and themes.
The Network intends to enable the Organization to comply better with its mandate of contributing to the sustainable development of the livestock sector, along with increasing food security and poverty reduction.
In this context, we would like to invite you, our partners and collaborators, governmental or intergovernmental organizations, civil society, private and productive sector representatives, scientist and individual experts alike, to join us at FAO Headquarters to share, discuses and document innovative concepts, technologies, and practices with the Livestock Technical Network members.
More specifically, we would like to know about your interest and availability to come to FAO Headquarters in Rome to present to the Network members your organization and your work, possibly your collaboration with FAO, and to discuss themes of common interest.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards,
Daniela Battaglia
Coordinator
FAO Livestock Technical Network
