Farmageddon - The True Cost of Cheap Meat Presentation by Philip Lymbery, CEO of Compassion in World Farming 30th September 2015 • FAO Headquarters Iran Room (B-116) • h 15.00 (GMT+2) The presentation is based on a book, jointly written by Philip Lymbery and Isabel Oakeshott (Political Editor of the Sunday Times and Panellist at BBC1 Sunday Politics), documents an investigative journey in several countries around the world. It aims at being a wake-up call to change our current food production and eating practices and attempts to finding a way to a better farming future. The highly controversial and thought provoking presentation will be followed by an open discussion on the themes treated by the book.
