IFOAM EU publication on agroecology and food security. IFOAM EU has contributed to the Action Network with a publication on the topic of agroecology with the title 'Feeding the people - Agroecology for nourishing the world and transforming the agri-food system' that was presented by IFOAM EU President Christopher Stopes on the occasion of the ceremony for the handing over of the Organic Charter, which we already reported on. In this publication the authors Angelika Hilbeck and Bernadette Oehen, researchers at FiBL, the research institute for organic agriculture, have managed to collect the visions of various experts on how agriculture can be turned, from its actual destructive form, into one that can help counter the environmental damages caused by industrial agriculture and, at the same time, feed the world population.
