In Siberia for the first time celebrated World School Milk Day!
Omsk first graders started the school year with dairy lessons.
The educational event was attended by 800 students from 11 schools in the city. Children learned how much milk a day provides the cow, when there was yogurt, as "Bifilyuks" space-related and which need to drink milk to get the most vitamins. The guys showed a cartoon about healthy nutrition and dairy products. To consolidate the knowledge held a quiz and a dance contest. Curious first-graders were awarded colorings and yogurt.

The main purpose of the project - to instill in students the habit of proper nutrition. According to experts, children who drink milk regularly, significantly improved physical health. Because milk is a valuable source of protein and vitamins necessary for the growing organism.
Before the start of the school year, school teachers personally visited the Dairy Plant "MilkOm", where during the tour they were introduced to the full cycle of production of milk: milk tanker from coming to the packing of finished products. Thus, the materials for the lessons are based on the best practices of manufacture of natural dairy products without the use of milk powder or preservatives.
Sergei Kalinin, deputy of the Legislative Assembly: "The most important thing is that we are bringing up children as necessary to a healthy diet and what good milk. Organizers timed the educational campaign for the World Schoolmilk Day, which instituted the UN. It is celebrated annually in more than 40 countries and is intended to draw attention to the importance of including milk in the diet of schoolchildren. This year, the Omsk region has contributed to the popularization of milk. And given that our region - one of the leaders in dairy production in Siberia, it is essential that primary school pupils learned about a natural product that has always been the pride of our region.
