Dear Subscribers,

Please see her below a message from the 'Kiss the Ground' team at COP 21 regarding the global 4 per 1000 initiative which the French Agriculture Minister Stephane Le Fall is leading. 2 per 1000 is a deal signed this week by hundreds of partners around the globe committing to protect and increasing carbon stocks in soils through regenerative agriculture practices.

Happy World Soil Day!

Today we're celebrating soil! Why? Because by caring for and maintaining healthy soil we can balance the carbon cycle. We have the ability, means & know-how to stop & reverse climate change by working with nature (and keeping soil happy).

How does it work? Check out
The Soil Story or watch this version that we are releasing today in France for COP21 (The 21st UN Conference of Parties on Climate Change).
Kiss the Ground's team has been on the ground in Paris for the last week meeting, presenting and sharing with other nonprofits who are attending COP21.  The talks are really hopeful this time around because instead of just discussing reducing emissions, delegates are discussing balancing our carbon cycle - using healthy soil to draw carbon out of the atmosphere.

French Agriculture Minister Stephane Le Foll is leading the charge in his 4 per 1000 initiative - a deal signed this week at COP21 by hundreds of partners around the globe committing to protecting and increasing carbon stocks in soils through regenerative agriculture practices. Check out the graphic below to learn more.

If you have a moment today, kiss the ground. Soil is our best hope at this point for a balanced climate and a beautiful future.

Want to take action? Commit to purchasing organic and supporting farmers who do the work of tending to our soils.

Love,
Kiss the Ground
Donate today. Help us create a global movement for soil as a means to balance the climate.
