FAO and the United Kingdom combined efforts to increase animal health emergency preparedness awareness in the Caucasus and Central Asia

 

FAO refurbished the “Good Emergency Management Practice (GEMP); The Essentials” manual, which describes the different steps to consider for Veterinary Services when drafting and validating their emergency preparedness documents, such as contingency plans and related standard operational procedures (SOPs). FAO organizes a workshop to control Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Libya - FAO Regional Office for Near East and North Africa

 

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) held today its first inception workshop on "Emergency assistance for the control of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in poultry and other domestic birds in Libya."
