The event comprised a public function at Parc Paragon near Siam Paragon mall in downtown Bangkok. Prior to the World Milk Day a press conference was held on the 25th of May to announce the celebrations to the public. A second event took place on the 31st of May to promote the World Milk Day celebrations. The prime minister of Thailand and representatives of the organizing parties came together and toasted with a glass of milk towards a bright future for the dairy sector in Thailand. Public events on June 1 included games and promotional activities by participating organizations and companies and many other entertainment activities led by Thai celebrities including traditional dances and a pop concert.
