Dear all,

Kenya is ready to do food sampling for the development of the Kenyan food composition table (KFCT). I think it is a wonderful show case of a successful collaboration within a country (FAO, ministries, universities, academia, nutrition and agriculture, and private sector) as well as between FAO HQ and a country office.

Most laboratory results are expected in 2016 and the KFCT launch in 2017.

Many thanks to all involved. Really great job.

It would probably be nice to share similar success stories. You might remember we will have another award for success stories in 2017 at the 12th IFDC. I am looking forward to see more of such examples shared through the INFOODS listserv.

Best wishes

Ruth
