Hi Emanuele

Here at Cool Milk in the UK. We’re offering schools that are with us the chance to order a World School Milk Day activity pack.

Our packs, which have been designed to help children learn about different countries around the world, why drinking milk is good for them and where their school milk comes from, include activity books and stickers for the children and a guide to World School Milk Day for the teachers. There is also a poster that the schools can display to promote their school milk scheme to parents as well as informing them that they’re celebrating World School Milk Day at their school.

We have a web page dedicated to World School Milk Day at www.coolmilk.com/wsmd which includes information about the day and downloadable activity sheets as well as a Twitter account @wsmdUK where we’ll be posting updates on the lead up to the day.

Kind regards

Wayne Thornton

The School Milk list is a service of FAO’s Trade and Markets Division

Dear List Members,

Following the success of this year’s World Milk Day celebrations, I want to remind everyone to give some thought to World School Milk Day which takes place each year on the last Wednesday in September, so this year it will be on 28th September.

In 2015, the Day was celebrated by around 20 countries.  Here is a summary of activities:  Summary: World School Milk Day 2015

Let us have any news about planned celebrations, so that we circulate them via the List to provide inspiration to others.

Kind regards,

Emanuele
