CONSERVATION AGRICULTURE
CONFERENCE

15TH DECEMBER 2016
BALDOCK HERTFORDSHIRE

As the number of farmers practicing Conservation Agriculture continues to grow, we would like to invite you to the first in a series of one-day conferences; bringing together expert speakers to provide unbiased answers on key issues that farmers taking this systems approach face.

Our key aim is to answer the complex question: “Does Conservation Agriculture have a future role in sustainable and profitable food production in the UK?”. We begin by focusing on soil biology. What does the latest science tell us? What techniques are available to best manage the soil food web while maximising the overall return on investment?

A key way of addressing these questions is to carry out live, on-going benchmarking of real farm businesses practicing Conservation Agriculture, tracking their long term physical and financial performance. Details of this will be announced at the conference. We look forward to seeing you at what is sure to be a stimulating and thought provoking event.
