Dear Emanuele:

For Dairy Consortium, this year was the first time we had information about the World School Milk Day, so we had the opportunity to participate in 2 technical-vocational schools to spread this day with children and teenagers, and share what we are doing and our knowledge about milk properties in every life stage and milk production with the students.

PHP Pilmaiquén School in Puyehue has a dairy and 2 technical degrees for their students, agriculture and gastronomy. They celebrated "Milk Day" on Tuesday 27 where they show each other how milk is produced and what can they cook with milk. Punta de Rieles School in Los Muermos, had an Agricultural Fair with cheese producers, little farmers and dairy inputs suppliers. In both activities we show some graphics with hole dairy process, industrialization and commercialization plus milk properties with nutrition facts to spread the health benefits of milk consumption and the importance of dairy as a strong production sector in Chile and particularly in this region.

Since 2015 we had "Thanks to Milk" communications program, which spreads scientific researches about health and nutritional properties of milk to specialist physicians, and in simple words to the community.

We hope next year to extend this activity to elementary schools to spread this message to children who don't know much about milk production, approaching the productive sector to our community.

Kind regards
