Webinar: Pulses - Innovations from the field to the cooking pot

We are happy to invite you to the upcoming webinar Pulses - Innovations from the field to the cooking pot.

The webinar will take place online on Thursday, 20 October 2016 from 15:00 to 16:00 CEST at http://fao.adobeconnect.com/iyp2016ii

The webinar is organised in the context of the International Year on Pulses (IYP 2016) and is part of the FSN Forum online discussion Pulses: Innovations from the field to the cooking pot.

It will feature presentations by Dr Sieg Snapp, Michigan State University and Dr Karen Cichy, US Department of Agriculture presenting innovative practices that could help increase the role of pulses from a producer and a consumer point of view.

·         Dr Sieg Snapp will be talking about resilient pulses varieties

·         Dr Karen Cichy will focus on fast cooking pulses

Following the presentations, you will have the chance to engage in a brief round of discussion and to ask both experts your questions.
