Hi Jeff and Jhony,

Thanks for your comments. Here is a revised and better version of the final reporting template for facilitators. Do you want to take a look, and then make any final changes directly before sending out to the country teams.

Hope this is now closer to what you were hoping for.

Best wishes

Duncan

Subject: RE: Template for final FFF reporting by facilitators

Hi Duncan,

The template table is very well done. Below you find suggestions.

-          Add at the beginning of the template a summary page to be completed by the facilitators with key information such as name of the country, name of the FFPOS supported, number of members, policies influenced. Some kind of summary information of the 3 FFF pillars

-          The facilitators should try to provide as concrete and measurable (e.g. numbers) as possible information  about the baseline

-          It would be good to add some written instructions on key things such as: (i) they should strengthen efforts on the indicators at outcome and impact level, because it is the last report, (ii) I also think that the learning questions should be answer carefully this time, because they will summarize 5 year of learnings.

-          They could include in the report what the 2 or 3 results (outcomes) of the country implementation are and that they think is worth to share with other countries

-          Add a short part about the M&L implementation: what worked well, what didn’t worked, their suggestions on how to improve the M&L system for the 2nd phase

-          It would also be good that they provide somehow information about the amount of funds (in % or US) that went to POs and/or to each pillar and/or aoutcome

-          Somehow we need to include in the report how we have taken into consideration at country level the recommendation of the midterm evaluation. I don’t have a suggestion for the table. It could be in the full report

Cheers,

Jhony

Hi Jeff,

You are right of course – this need to be the M&L section of a full report. Let me rethink and revise. Anything else to add from others?

Importance: High

Dear Duncan,  As a table to be filled in I think this is very useful.  However I think we should probably give them an Outline for the full report:  which could include a short Introduction,  a list of the main partners, the completed M & L you have developed, a short summary of unanticipated incomes, any additional lessons learned and a short story.

Quick suggestions from others would be welcomed.

Jeff

Subject: Template for final FFF reporting by facilitators

Dear Jeff,

Please find attached the template Anna and I have prepared for facilitator final reporting. The aim was to make a stand alone report that each country could use that would be fairly self-explanatory. It may need to be accompanied by an email that explains that:

1.       We need them to fill it in in its entirety

2.       Particular emphasis is on the comparison of baseline with final figures

3.       New elements include the need to report against impact and outcome indicators – these will be the main headline stories for the FFF Phase I programme

4.       In part, this report will be used to assess ongoing FFF support for countries

Hope this works

Duncan
