The electronic version is available on the University of Ibadan website (nigeriafooddata.ui.edu.ng<http://nigeriafooddata.ui.edu.ng>). The database is made up of 282 foods, listed under 16 food groups and having 27 nutrient components. The existing gaps in the database/table indicate areas of research need. Plans are underway to fill these gaps, include more foods and recipes and update the database regularly. Kind regards Prof. Henrietta Ene-Obong, AFROFOODS coordinator ________________________________ To unsubscribe from the InFoods-Food-Comp-L list, click the following link: https://listserv.fao.org/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=InFoods-Food-Comp-L&A=1 This electronic message contains information generated by the USDA solely for the intended recipients.
