FAO and OECD to launch Agricultural Outlook 2018-2027

New projections on agricultural production, expected developments in the global commodities and food trade, with a feature on Middle East and North Africa region

3 July | OECD, Paris

Annual presentation of 10-year projections will examine prospects for agricultural and fish commodity markets at national, regional and global levels. The report’s coverage spans the animal feed and biofuels sectors.

This year's Special Feature will focus on agricultural development in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Food and Agriculture Organization will hold a press conference at the OECD’s Paris headquarters starting at 15:00 CET (13:00 GMT) on Tuesday, 3 July.

The report will be available to registered journalists on the OECD's password-protected website at 15:00 CET (13:00 GMT) on Tuesday 3 July, for immediate release.

Journalists can receive advanced access to the electronic version of the report by e-mail – by request only the day before release, and under embargo until 15:00 CET.
