Dear Partners and Observers,

Our German colleagues have been working during the year to develop and finalise the Attribution Paper to address the cross-cutting issue of how to attribute the measurement of the GBEP Sustainability Indicators to the production and use of bioenergy. We are very pleased to attach the full draft of this technical paper.

In order to validate and disseminate the guidance in this report, we would like to invite you to a webinar to be held at 1200 UTC on Wednesday 24 October. This will be an opportunity for Partners and Observers to explore the guidance provided in the paper and for the authors to address any concerns before its finalisation. Therefore, if you have any comments or queries about the Attribution Paper, these will be gratefully received by the authors both before and during the webinar; preliminary comments can be sent to [log in to unmask].

The webinar will be held using Adobe Connect and you can access the meeting at the following link: http://fao.adobeconnect.com/gbepattribution/. We recommend that you connect 15 minutes prior to the start of the webinar to check the connection.
