CREMONA, TODAY'S MILK DAY STARTING

As already organized for several years now, the Free Cremona association of farmers, adhering to the FAO initiative, celebrates starting today 31 May (one day early for organizational reasons, but the final queue will be guaranteed one minute after the midnight, then June 1) the world milk day. The event is growing with time and the editions and will be a real "Milk Festival", with different initiatives and that will continue throughout the day. Various organizations and institutions are also involved in the organization: the Municipality of Cremona, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Piacenza and Cremona, the Italian branch of Fil-Idf, and the publishing group Sec, publisher of the newspaper "La Provincia" , as well as various companies and cooperatives in the sector. The day is divided into three parts: in the morning in the council room of the Municipality, with a specific organization of the Catholic University and of Fil Idf, with a contribution from the Invernizzi Foundation, a conference on: “Information and correct nutrition in the pediatric age and adolescent ”in which the role of milk and derivatives, recently challenged, on the diet of the first period of life is brought into focus. In the afternoon, again in the Council's Council room a dialogue on milk with a well-known writer and essayist but who is also an expert in the sector, agronomist and inspector of the Ministry of Agricultural Policies: Antonio Pascale, who entertains the public on: "Sentimental history of milk: there is no taste without knowing ”. Immediately after a combination with sport: milk and baskin, in conjunction with the presentation of the Baskin national championship opening ceremony. The World Milk Day, like last year, will end the evening in the square with "The white night of milk" a party based on music and milk. Therefore particularly dedicated to young people. Final toast one minute after midnight.
