The webinar will address the evolution and challenges of promoting Conservation Agriculture (CA) in Argentina and Peru. Argentina is known as one of the pioneer countries for adoption of CA. However, Peru is the country with the least area under CA in Latin America. Additionally, this webinar will demonstrate the impact of replacing crop residue burning and tillage-based agriculture with CA.

Speaker: Juliana Albertengo holds an MSc in Agronomy and is a Conservation Agriculture expert. Juliana is Argentinian and is currently managing a CA project in Peru founded by the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC). She has carried out consultancies for FAO, Solidaridad, IFC, Coca-Cola, and International Cryosphere Climate Initiative (ICCI), among others.
