In celebration of World Oceans Day 2020, we invite you to join the virtual panel discussion on COVID-19 & Small-Scale Fisheries in the Caribbean: Impacts, Solutions & Adapting to an Uncertain Future, Monday 8 June, 2020 at 3:30PM AST.

 

This panel discussion is being moderated by CANARI and brings together fisherfolk and key regional organisations in the Caribbean to share perspectives on the COVID-19 pandemic and explore various social, environmental and technological adaptations that those in the fishing industry have employed and potential solutions as we move forward. This event is hosted by the Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute (GFCI) and Too Big To Ignore (TBTI) as part of the week-long “Small is Bountiful” Virtual Event celebrating the contribution of small-scale fisheries to ocean sustainability and innovation.
