the Animal Production and Health Section of the Joint FAO/IAEA Division of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture develops, validates and applies innovative nuclear and nuclear-derived techniques for early, rapid diagnoses and control of transboundary animal and zoonotic diseases.
It runs a laboratory in Seibersdorf, Austria and works with a global network of veterinary diagnostic laboratories. More information on its works here and here
