Global CA-CoP CONSERVATION AGRICULTURE COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE

for sustainable agriculture and ecosystem management

Dear Subscribers,

Please see below links to two Conservation Agriculture related publications from the University of Western Australia Institute of Agriculture.

One paper is about annual CA systems in South Asia and addresses issues of sustainable soil management for food security in South Asia.

The other paper is about perennial CA plantation systems in the southwest China characterized by a typical southwest tropical monsoon climate.

Perennial CA systems (orchards, plantations and crops with trees) exist in all continents, and have been expanding Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe based on the application of the interlinked CA principles to transform these systems into ecologically and biologically managed resilient systems while minimizing or even avoiding agrochemicals, and restoring soil health and productivity.
