Subject: Conclusions of the GBEP Meetings 2020 - Approval and next steps
Dear Partners and Observers,
We hope this email finds you well.
First of all, we would like to thank everyone who participated in the GBEP Annual Meetings at the end of October, especially the co-chairs of the technical groups and of the Steering Committee, as well as all presenters. We are very pleased
with how the meetings went, given the normal difficulties with online meetings, and there was good agreement on a lot of promising work to take place in the coming year.
We are pleased to circulate the Conclusions of the 12th Meeting of the Working Group on Capacity Building and of the 18th Meeting of the Task Force on Sustainability, as well as the
Summary of the 23rd Meeting of the Steering Committee. Regarding this latter and considering the exceptional online edition, it was decided that a written/email approval process would be followed. Therefore,
Partners and Observers are invited to approve the attached Summary of the 23rd Steering Committee meeting: if no concerns are raised by 13 November 2020, the 23rd SC Summary will be considered approved.
