Dear Partners and Observers,
We hope this email finds you well.
The 8th GBEP Bioenergy Week will take place next week,
16-18 March 2021. We are very excited that the online event will be allowing the participation of colleagues and experts from all over the world to provide a platform for drawing on positive experiences on sustainable production
and use of bioenergy in Africa and beyond. The event will also have simultaneous interpretation English-French-English to allow for even greater participation.
The event runs from 1100 to 1600 EAT (UTC+3) for three days, with both morning and afternoon sessions covering a variety of topics, including bioeconomy opportunities in Africa, sustainable bioenergy for land conservation and restoration,
roundtable on bankable projects, and reporting and statistics, to name a few. The full agenda is attached to this email and a visual overview of the three days is copied below for you convenience.
We warmly encourage you to join us for the event, either for all three days or choosing the sessions of most interest to you. To be able to join, please
