The World Summit of Indigenous Peoples and Nature, hosted at the IUCN World Conservation Congress, will create a space for indigenous peoples to raise their voices, reaffirm their rights and present their proposals as stewards of nature. The Summit will present the results of collaborative planning led by IUCN Indigenous Peoples’ Organisation members to develop a Global Indigenous Agenda for the Governance of Indigenous Lands, Territories and Natural Resources and call on the global community to play supportive and enabling roles.
