Dear all,

Today is the last day of work of Josephine Querido, our editor these last months. Josephine was identified by IIED communications team which I thank for such a good recommendation.

It has been a real pleasure to work with Josephine. She has been extremely active in promoting the successes of the great work done in the countries. Some of her recent articles include the launch of the cocoa campaign in Madagascar<http://www.fao.org/forestry/news/98870/en/>, an editorial for the indigenous peoples'day<https://news.globallandscapesforum.org/viewpoint/indigenous-peoples-are-key-to-a-healthier-planet/>, an article on the strategies to help women entrepreneurs<https://www.iucn.org/news/forests/202108/strategies-help-rural-women-protect-forests>, a story on innovative farmers during the pandemic<http://www.fao.org/madagascar/actualites/detail-events/fr/c/1430757/>. In addition, she leaves us with some draft stories to be published soon, and she worked on many other communication material (newsletter, video script, outreach package).

She has been a fantastic team player and I will miss her a lot. Some of you have worked more closely with her on some stories.

Let us thank Josephine for her dedication and hard work. Josephine, merci !!! We wish you all the very best for your new position.

"Ce n'est qu'un aurevoir"

Cheers,

Marguerite
