Dear Mountain Partnership members and friends,

We are pleased to share with you the announcement of the Origin, Diversity and Territories Forum<https://origin-for-sustainability.org/en/concept-note-2021/>, to be held on 13-15 October 2021.

This year, the event focuses on "Disruption and rebounds of territorialized food systems". The Forum is organized in four workshops. One of the workshops, "Mountain territories: dynamics and rebounds. The place of localized food systems and networking", is specifically dedicated to the sustainable development of mountains and will take place in four sessions:

- Production-consumption-resources: What is the role of Localized Agri-food Systems (SyAL) in "sustainable tourism" strategies?

- Agricultural mountain landscapes and human activities (session co-organized with the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems Secretariat)

- Mountains' heritage, innovations and labels: Collective action and sustainability strategies

- Exchanges, networks and territorial construction: The future for mountain people (with participation by the Mountain Partnership Secretariat)

The full programme is available here.<https://origin-for-sustainability.org/en/program-2021/>
