Rapid Implementation Framework
Development is underway of the project proposal for the Rapid Implementation Framework.

If you would like to contribute to this sub-group, please email [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> to be added to the mailing list.
FAO project: "Rapid Implementation Framework"
This FAO project will be implemented by the GBEP team and will contribute to the sub-group of the Task Force on Sustainability that focuses on facilitating the implementation of the GBEP Sustainability Indicators for Bioenergy, more specifically to the workstream on the 'Rapid Implementation Framework". The output of this 6-month project, which will finish in December, will be a description of how to carry out a rapid implementation of the GBEP Sustainability Indicators for Bioenergy and the accompanying handbook for practitioners. The project will represent not only a useful standalone resource for facilitating the rapid implementation of the GSI but will also provide a good basis for a larger project that can incorporate these concepts into a broader online platform that includes data-entry capabilities.

Data entry sheets
The data entry sheets are a tool to streamline indicator measurement and ensure data consistency across the set of GBEP indicators.
The first version of the data entry sheets for the measurement of the GSI for bioenergy pathways from agricultural crops have been completed and approved by P&Os.
The first version of the data entry sheets for bioenergy pathways from agricultural crops are available here<http://www.globalbioenergy.org/fileadmin/user_upload/gbep/docs/TFS/GSI_data_entry_sheet_draft_29.09.2020.xlsx>.
If you would like to contribute to this sub-group, please email [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> to be added to the mailing list.
Bioeconomy
The GBEP Secretariat contributed to the joint GBEP and IEA Bioenergy Task 45 Technical paper prepared by IINAS on "Sustainability Governance of Bioenergy and the Bioeconomy".
