Dear subscribers

WHO is pleased to share a One Health companion document to the Neglected Tropical Diseases road map 2021-2030 (https://www.who.int/publications/i/item/9789240010352).

The draft One Health companion document is now online for public consultation until Monday 15th November 2021 and can be found  at: https://www.who.int/news-room/articles-detail/online-public-consultation-who-survey-tool.-one-health-companion-document in English, French, Russian and Spanish languages.

This document has five parts and aims to support a range of stakeholders – including people from endemic countries, international organizations, and non-State actors – to achieve the road map targets using a cross-cutting, One Health approach:

1.            An introduction to One Health, and why it is important to achieving the road map targets;

2.            One Health actions needed by major stakeholders to achieve the road map targets;

3.            Guidance on how to apply a cross-cutting One Health approach to national NTD programmes;

4.            Common challenges to taking a One Health approach and how they can be overcome; and

5.            Key resources.

Best regards,
