Dear Members,
Please find below updated information from FAO HQs, relating
to Covid-19 vaccination campaign.
“The Organization continues to adapt and respond to the evolving situation with
the Omicron variant.
Around 2 400 people are expected to have
received their jabs. Numbers are predictably less as people have been successful in booking their vaccinations themselves instead of through the UN Italy endeavour.
If you missed the UN booster campaign, Regione Lazio is taking a more open approach
now to accommodating foreign nationals. You can book an appointment with Salute Lazio by calling them on their helpline on 06 164 161 841 between 7:30-19:30 Monday through Friday. You can book using only your Codice
Fiscale; no
Tessera Sanitaria is
needed. Many colleagues have found appointments for the next day or the day after. Otherwise, you may keep a look out for Open Days and show up with your Codice
Fiscale and
previous vaccination Certificates.
Already got your booster and trying to get your new Green Pass? You
can download it here,
and if you do not have a Tessera Sanitaria,
you should select the option “Utente non iscritto al SSN vaccinato in Italia”.
As it has proved in the past, the Organization can and will adjust as needed. FAO
is flexible and resilient, ready to work and deliver, in whatever circumstances”.
In addition the FFOA informs you that for sanitary and health issues and for non-Italian / European
Green Pass problems you can call the number 1500 of the Ministry of Health.
Take care and stay safe.
Best regards,
FFOA Secretariat
