Dear Mountain Partnership members and friends,

The second installment of UNIMONT’s Youth4Mountains series will be held on Thursday, 24 March 2022 at 14.00 CET. The webinar will focus on “Sharing mountain regions’ examples of innovative and sustainable tourism”.

Territorial development processes require the presence of an active entrepreneurial component. The Youth4Mountains workshop series will allow present and future young entrepreneurs from all over the world to get inspiration by sharing their ideas and experiences.

This second webinar of the series will explore how sustainable tourism aims to connect recreational activities with ecological and social requirements. To address this challenge, the diversification of existing businesses can increase the competitiveness of mountain areas while allowing the enhancement and conservation of local resources and interaction with the territory and communities living in these areas.

The event will feature case studies from India, Italy, Peru and Romania.
